Default Lq4 cam swap problem

I recently rebuilt my lq4 and added a set of ported 799 heads and a cam from an 06 gto. The new cam required me to move the cam sensor to the front and extend the harness, which I did .I now get hard starts, backfires, or a no start situation. I believe it's throwing the p0343 code if I remember right. Any help or ideas? Maybe I have the wrong sensor?

I believe you have to switch the two outside wires at the sensor

I have just always read that switching from the rear to front cam sensor, the outer wires must be switched. Otherwise you have the problems you are now experiencing
