Cam harder? I have my idle absolutely dialed in. The problem is now it sounds stock again. This is a texas speed 228R so it had quite the lope to it. 
I had to play with the cam overrun / under-run and PID's to get it correct. Maybe I can pull some timing? I am running between 16 and 19 degrees at idle.

If idle is stable and timing is stable thin is dialed in perfectly. To make it choppier just play with the over/under timing tables.
For starters try doubling the stock settings. If it seems to be goin the way u like, just keep adding more to it till u like it.

Getting your idle dialed in that good makes you a tuner. Wanting it to sound like crap makes you a poser. One of these attributes is much better than the other. If you really want the big cam sound, just go with a big cam. The real question is what your powerband looks like.
