Ok. I found a stock 02 flex fuel tune. The prime pulse mass and sec pulse mass tables are empty.

Try copying your first pulse mass table into your prime pulse mass AND sec pulse mass tables. Then multiply both prime and sec by 0.5.

Did you check fuel pressure?

Quite honestly, you shouldn't have to touch anything in the fueling tables to get it to start. That's a good way to chase your tail.

Yes, fuel pressure is good and it's set at 3bar (43psi) for my 140lbhr injectors. Ima stay on one path right now and continue to look at base airflow before I start down another. It starts almost instantly then goes into it's stumbling phase so I think the pulse tables are ok. I've played with Afterstart enrichment by taking out fuel before i started down this path and it ran like ****.

if anything, it's acting like it needs more fuel in the afterstart enrichment tables, not less. I do agree with your assessment that the VE tables are likely very good or you'd have trouble all the time, not just the first 20 seconds.

Edit - Would you be willing to do another cold start log, but start recording before you start the car and also add spark advance to the channels being recorded?

Well this morning it started almost instantly. There was a little initial 1-2 second stumble but I think that was it adjusting to the new airflow figures that I changed it to. Here's what I think the main problem was - TOO MUCH BASE RUNNING AIRFLOW.(I think) my mistake was using the 68* cell while it was still adding Frictional Air and because it wasn't very cold out it didn't have time for that air in that cell to fully time out before it switched to the next cell. SOOO, I only upped that cell by 1.5gms/sec over the 90* cell and also lowered the colder cells similarly before starting it this morning. Before the 68* cell was 4gms/sec over the 90* cell. IMO I would not use any airflow #s unless it has plenty of time to run through its cycle in that particular cell while running Russ K's config. As mentioned before I also lowered my IAC's from 60-65 at 200* to 28-30 and my TPS voltage went from .57 to .59. With all these changes I took out 6.37gms/sec at 68* - 6.38 at 90* and 7.44 at 111* which includes the changes I made after this mornings log. I made the same drastic changes to the colder regions and close to half in the hotter regions. I'll know for sure if I'm correct when I fire it up this evening. Now I gotta run the Russ K config and readjust the in gear numbers. Attached is this mornings log.

For the two second stumble, in yourcspark advance, there is a start up flare control. Cuts a ton of timing right after the car fires. Cut it in half.

Well it still had that 1 to 2 second stumble but its a hell of a lot better than before. I did the Russ k config in gear and it wanted close to 10 more gms of air in the 90* cell than in the 111* cell. I'm not gonna add that mush air until I can recheck it when the temps get colder.

I did not try this on initial startup but I did after my Idle Air test. The car would not start after cutting it in half but as soon as I returned it to stock it fired right up.

That's really weird. Usually that change it just revs higher for a few seconds

What if he were to take a little less timing out?
