Default Overheating coolant a swapped 07 ls2 c6 to ls3

Hi am having an issue with a swapped 07 ls2 c6 to an ls3 . Its overheating gradually on idle . Takes time till it overheats . Every thing seems fine in the car . I even tried to turn on the fans on high speed since I started the car to see wether it would delay or stop the overheating . But no help . I flushed the coolant and changed the water pump but still no help . Everything seems fine yet it's still overheating slowly and wouldn't drop even when the fans go to high speed . The car was tuned I guess by the previous owner . I haven't checked the tune yet . Do u guys think that it could be a tune related issue like high timing on idle . Or is there any thing Els need to be looked at . Thanks

I'm JUST GUESSING BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE THE ls3 SITS HIGHER ON THE MOUNTS, I think if you put rear steam vents in that might cure it, sounds like you have an air pocket in the rear of the motor

The LS3 does not sit any higher than any other LS on the same mounts. The blocks are the same in that respect.

like I said I was taking a wild guess, but I would still bet he's got an air pocket in the rear of the motor
