Question 3 bar SD TURBO tune, back to 1 bar N/A tune questions

Obviously, my brand new GM ZR1 3 bar MAP sensor will be worthless (to an extent), after the turbo is removed.

Is there any reason why I cannot just modify/TUNE my HPTuners 3 bar SD Custom OS to run the car Naturally Aspirated?

Injectors, Fuel system, Transmission, Engine displacement, gearing, etc....is all remaining the same...just the turbo is getting removed.

Should I just RE-TUNE the car, leaving the current OS intact?
Or, what?

I plan to remain SD, but instead of open loop, will probably run closed loop Speed Density...

I imagine if I decided to re-install a MAF, that I'd need to switch back to a 1 bar MAF OS?

You can run N/A in a 3 bar tune. You just normally lose some table resolution.

I assume keeping the brand new GM 3 bar MAP sensor will also be fine? I remote mounted it when I got it, and since it seems to work much better than the 2 previous aftermarket versions, I really don't want to get rid of it.

If you correctly tuned your 3bar sd setup, the only thing you should have to change is your VE table. The freer flowing exhaust not going through a turbo turbine should give you somewhat higher VE when you go NA.

Thanks for the reply.
That's what I was figuring/hoping. I just wanted to make sure there was no weird stuff going to happen, since nobody ever (by choice) goes backwards on power output...lol.
