Default Engine stalls when coasting to stop

Hey guys running into issues with my rebuilt LS3 swapped into my 240sx. The engine will start up fine with 58psi of fuel pressure and will idle with no issues. The problem is when I attempt to drive the car dies at almost every stop. Roll to a stop and push the clutch in and it usually dies. Sometimes the RPM will drop below the idle rpm and then recover but most times not. Before the car was running I brought the PCM over to a local tuner to have a base map installed on it so the car would start (Engine builder told me to do this before starting). I'm not sure if this is due to me not having a real tune yet on the car or something else.

Engine Mods:
4.07 Wiseco w/ Texas H beam
231/246, .640"/.615, 111 LSA Cam
1 3/4" Headers
Stock injectors and intake

Lol. I’m surprised it even will crank with that big of a cam in it. Also surprised this question is even being asked too lol. Yes it definitely needs to be tuned. The fuel trims are probably maxed out right now and I bet it’s running quite rich which may damage something so I wouldn’t drive it.

you should read the idle tuning tutorial on efi live forum. I had that issue with my 408 with 241/246/113+1 HR cam. Im still tuning it but now i have none of those issues.

Don't know how EFI live/Hp tuners do it,, but on other standalone systems they call the setting "dashpot" it controls the last few hundred RPM and mixture when you let off the throttle so the engine is not just choked off when you let off the gas.. Its named after the little gadget that bolted on the carburetor back in the day..

Yeah, dashpots sloooowwwwed the decal rate so a slug of gas wouldn't get sucked out of the carburetor, causing untold smog nasties...

Needs a tune. The idle is the first thing to go when you drop in a big cam. If you need to drive it there, disconnect the VSS and crack open the throttle plate.
