Default RTMR & RFRM fusebox difference

I've been looking for almost an hour. Can someone PLEASE tell me the difference between RTMR and RFRM fuse boxes? I see tons of people mention one or the other, or that the have both, and I even found a webpage that sells both. I know RTMR is (rear terminal fuse and relay) and RFRM is (rear-fed fuse and relay).

I tried this in the other sub but didn't get an answer so I thought I'd try here.

In case this answer may help anyone out in the future, I emailed and then spoke on the phone with Eaton/Bussmann's tech support today. Essentially, these products are the same as far as function with the differences below:

RTMR - physically smaller - connectors are tangless (5-10 fuses/relays max)

RFRM - physically bigger - connectors have tangs (used when more than 5-10 fuses desired)

I use the Bussman RFMR for my 92 s10 408 swap. Very happy with it. I bought a mount for it from a dude on Tacoma World forum. Also did you find the "Bodenzord" 5 page detailed write up onbhow to wire up a RTMR?

I did find that page. I printed it out and put the pages in a 3 ring binder. It was near priceless when ordering all the parts. I noticed you have the dual bussed panel. That's what I got as well. How did you end up powering the keyed hot power buss?

i used my 92 s10 stock coil wire from my c100 bulkhead connector. Its hot in run and start. I basicslly made that my ECM IGN circuit now. Its actually fused with a 10A fuse inside the cab.

In my car (1978 Caprice) I had a stock HEI ignition. Since I'm going to be keeping the original wires to power the starter, I could cut the old HEI wire and run it to the relay that will power the "ignition on" buss on the fuse block, right?

Yup that would be good to go. I kept the stock s10 starting circuits as well.
