Just got it back from the tuner.......
Just got it back from the tuner....... I picked the car up Tuesday night from the tuner and that's where it started. The vats was not deactivated so they brought the laptop out and turned it off and it put the tune back in. No problem well on the way home of course it ran weird but I did about 40 miles of different driving conditions and put it up. Last night some people came over and we went out and the engine light came on. It has codes p0101,p0171 and p1074. Maf or Vaf range and other two are lean codes. Car won't idle clean you touch the gas it revs to about 4k quick which in a parking lot last night that is kinda tight was no fun it sounded like I couldn't drive a stick or something. After it sits for a little bit it'll calm down and it chops hard. Its like the throttle is hanging but I have checked it and its not. It has to be the tune is not right and its killing. It makes no power wouldn't spin in first or second without clutch help, it sputters and spits until about 5 or so then it pulls hard to redline. Cruising you can here the exhaust note change and hear it missing and spitting. This is more of a rant and me bitching to feel better than anything lol...dropping it back off tonight and I'm going to get the file from the tune and send it to Vengeance to double check. I think it has to be the tune when is fine until they touched it.

Sounds like whoever “tuned” it didn’t spend any time on your idle. If you think buying some stand alone is gonna cure your woes - I sure hope you also plan to take it to a real tuner because you’re gonna be worse off than you were before.
