HP tuners MPVI2 problems

Some good news today. my customer got his repaired interface back and we were able to write and recover his computer.
Interestingly enough, he was told the repair done "modified to work on VPW computers" which I will assume means that either HPT was trying to make the mvpi2 a universal OBD2 protocol tool, or it was simply built with the wrong firmware.
Either way I'm still on the fence about the new interface. I will continue to use my old interface until it fails and evaluate the best tuning suite at that time.
