VCM update

Hey all, I am attempting to update my VCM suite and its not allowing me due to my net frame work not being up to date as being 4.6.1. I'm currently running a 4.0.1. I’ve tried updating the frame work directly from the Microsoft website and it still didn’t solve the issue. I’ve also uninstalled the hp tuners and re installed with no luck. Could anyone help me with some other options? I’m also running windows 10

Did your laptop actually accept the updated .net framework?

I believe it did. There was never a prompt stating otherwise

Go to install/uninstall a program and see if it comes up in the list.
sort by date. Should be at the top.

I’ve got a laptop that refuses to update the net framework no matter what I’ve tried. So I just bought a new one. Very frustrating
