4l60-80 tune. Really stuck
New to forum. At a stand still. is it possible for anyone to send me the files that i either need to add/delete from my pcm. I ran wires to trans and vss to pcm. I have a 1999 5.7 stroked running with 2000 4l80. Or possible to send me a tune I can use. It's a 2000 c3500 dually with 4:10 gears and 24.5" alcoa. The block is a 350 vortex bored 60 over with a comp cam hyd .488 hyd .495 IIntake 212 exhaust 218 @ .050 lobe. Lobe lift.3250 .3300 with everything roller. Truck an motor has been sitting 5yrs for build st final stage an truck wont budge. I'd really appreciate it. I dont know if motor info was necessary

If I understood you correctly. You need a tune that will run the new 4l80. If so what PCM are you running? Can you pull the tune? I'm sure there should be no issue running it after a segment swap.

Open your tune, click the icon that looks like a piece of paper with an "i" in front of it. This is information regarding your PCM. Now tell us what # is showing for your Operating System
Then you (or someone here) will go to the HPTuners tune repository and find a stock file equipped w/ an 80E and also w/ your matching operating system number.
You'll then download that, and perform a segment swap

I appreciate the help fellas. I personally dont have the computer. its my boys. So i have to pull my codes first. I know slow67 metioned something about deleting 2/3 solinoids in pcm. I am looking for the tune that will control my 80 like a 60 but allow tcc stay engaged at 0%
