Default I Need Expert Help.. Good AFR to Lean AFR.. Why..

Can someone help me understand why my tune went from a good AFR.. to an hour later, a lean AFR... I'm blown away. IDK what could cause this.. look at the AFR values. one was taking early in the drive, the second pic was takin' about an hour later.

What is your fuel pressure? You might have a pump going out.

Your VE table should not look like that. It needs to be a lot smoother. It jumps allover the place just like your afr.

Hit smooth all about 6 times and start with something like this. You will have to retune this but smooth everytime you make a change.

If the same VE cell at the beginning of the drive was the same VE cell at the end of the drive, shouldn't the AFR have stayed the same? I'll definitely give this a shot though. Thanks for your help.

I'll also check the fuel pressure, I have a gauge rigged up, but never look at it at idle!

99.999% sure I found the issue... Not tune related at all.

On my turbo system, my wastegate dumps into the downpipe of the turbo, BEFORE the wideband. Well, one of the v-band clamps for the wastegate pipe to the downpipe broke, and this pipe slightly shifted over after driving -- resulting in probably a good amount of fresh air being sucked into the downpipe before the wideband sensor. Bad design.. I'm pretty sure this is why I was lean after driving the car

I need to stop getting in this mindset of blaming the tune for everything. I could only imagine how bad it is for the pro-tuners out there when people have issues w/ their car!

Well, get that fixed, THEN tell us whether or not it worked. Hopefully that's it though! Thanks for reporting back!
