Hey. I was about to post a similar question but I found this. What did you ever do? I have an LS7 that I am going to put into my 2001 SS and I am just starting to ask these questions.

hey i just got through this and feel i have enough knowledge to answer your questions so anything you have lemme know.

i just went with a standard fbody map from a member. i know of a place u can get a cheap grommet as well if yours doesnt come with one. also invest in a sottering iron, extend the the map wires to the front and run the wires inside the pass side fuel rail wire harness. it will look nice and stock when finished, and saves you the 20 bucks on the ugly extension harness.

Hey. Thanks for the response. I bought the 100mm maf and matching lid. I am going to get an MSD Atomic intake and go from there. I have installed a Mast Motorsports cam and spring kit and had Texas Speed do some more CNC work on the heads. I still have to convert it to wet sump. I have been looking at using the Lingenfelter 58 to 24 wiring kit. I think that is all I am going to use along with my new 60lbs injectors. I just need to figure out if the LS1 computer can be tuned for this set up. How does your car run now? Is it manual or automatic? Mine is a 6 speed. Thanks in advance for your help.
