Default Fuel pump relay

Hi guys
Just in the process of fitting a ls3 in to a Range Rover
Just finished wiring the pcm up and i have no live feed out of the pcm on the green/white wire that goes to the fuel pump relay
it is reading 10 volts with a meter but has no substance
i have load test the wire with a bulb and the bulb does not light up

Typically most relayed systems that are controlled by the PCM (fuel pump, electric fans, etc) only receive a ground signal to complete the circuit and trigger the relays. That is likely the reason you’re not seeing voltage from the fuel pump wire.

Also, be very careful using a test light on the PCM circuits as this could damage the PCM, or better yet don’t use a test light at all on these circuits.
