Default Help

Has anyone ever put a gen 3 motor into a gen 4 truck? Having issues with reluctor wheels and dont want to pull the crank. Is there an easy fix through tuning the computer? Or do i need to send the motor to a machine shop to have the reluctor wheels changed?

Change the relucter and the cam or run a converter box. The box is pricey but it's the standard setup for what you're doing.

I might be wrong, but I THINK the Lingenfelter box only works for Gen IV engines in Gen III vehicles, not the other way around

Now that you mention it I think so too. For some reason I thought there was a box that could go the other way, but I can't seem to find it.
