PCM Tuning
Hi Guys,
Where can I send in my PCM out and get it reprogrammed for my 1985 S10 with a 5.3. I listed all the specs and what I wanted done and emailed a few of them and no one answered including this website. I did see one company that wanted $350.00 plus, that sounds a little high, am I wrong or is that the going price and are they that busy.

I'm not sure if my local HP Tuners guy would be interested in doing it. He would charge you two HP Tuners credits at fifty bucks each and then fifty dollars for his time, trouble, effort and skill, plus shipping - $150, plus shipping. That $350 price does sound high but depending on how much specialized PCM tuning you are asking for, it could be spot on.
For my $150, he gave me the following:
Startup and at temp Idle Raised 100 rpm
PE Delay set to zero
Cat Overtemp Disabled
All EVAP, EGR, Fuel Sender, and Rear O2 codes deleted
Speedo and shift points corrected for current tire/gear
Max line psi disabled in case of MAF failure
VATS turned off
Fans Activated - First fan on @ 195 second on at 210 both off at 190
