02 sensor erratic readings
Car was tuned few weeks ago then dropped a couple lifters. Had to change the cam and finally got it going Friday. No issues with 02 sensors.
Now the front 02’s one will read lean and other will read rich, then will swap depending on rpms you hit. We put new 02’s in and car ran great. Started drive ability tune with load and drivers side 02 fell down and caught on fire.
Wired new plug/ sensor car ran fine until you go over 3k rpms and starts doing the same thing. One side lean and other rich. Car doesn’t have a vacuum leak or exhaust leak. I think something came loose as far as wiring somewhere during rebuild stage bc it was fine before. They are going to check the grounds and wiring on the car.
I didnt know if anybody else has had these issues before. It only has upstream 02’s. Car runs on #9 plug, has big shot of spray.
Could a ground cause the erratic readings? I’m stuck on some type of wiring with the car since it was just apart and fine before. I know the tuner/ shop is going to dig into this week but figured I would ask on here with all the knowledge.
