Default G8 with "locked" PCM options

Bought the car as it sits now. Has an unknown cam and headers. Brought it to the dyno to make sure it's good and tuner notifys me that the PCM is locked so he can't do much. Rolled it and it's ok. A/F maybe a little lean @13.2, and timing is weak @ 21 degrees. Want to do more things to it, so what are my options to get this thing tunable and or get past the locked PCM? Thanks.

It's a L76. My buddy just got his tuned and he's at 26 degrees. Do I have to get vehicle specific PCM or can I use any gen 4 one?

It has to be the correct service and part number, E38's are interchangeable like older ecm's are. A new one comes blank and has to be flashed with SPS before it can tuned by hpt or efi live. We sell new E38 programmed to your VIN but dont sell used ones.

So, if I purchase one from you, I give you VIN. Will it have factory settings in it to drive or do I need to go directly to my tuner to have it programmed? How much? Thanks.

It will have the newest updated factory tune in from GM based off your VIN. We pay GM to have access to the same database that all the dealerships use. We can put a custom tune it for extra but if your going to get it tuned then that would be wasted money IMO. PM'd you the price.
