Default Locked down E67- help

Customer brought in a Pontiac Solstice with an LS2 swap. Goes into reduced power mode under full throttle and the tune in general needs a bit of cleaning up. HP tuners editor won't read it. It was tuned with LS2 Edit which, best I can tell, locks the tune by default. I've been in touch with the tuner, Ken Kelly, but so far he hasn't been very forth coming about letting me get into this thing. I know I can get another pcm and start over but there is certain functionality, like the gauges, that I would like to retain in the current tune. He told me if I had an LS2 Edit download cable he might be able to help out. Any of you smart guys out there have any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

That must really suck for the tuner who is tuning. But then again, I heard that G-Fab guy is pretty badass and will get it figured out
