Default HP Tuner Logs

Hey all. So I'll start this with the back story first here. So as many of you know, I am in the military and still deployed to the middle east, and have been for over a year. It's been quite a while since I've been able to tune or mod anything, so to stay fresh, I keep myself here in the forums to learn, help, and learn more through others at the moment. I even started sharing some knowledge on the subject through my guides, again, to stay fresh so I don't lose it while I am here. Also, this is to help folks out. So far it's been well received, so I intend to make more.

So here's my issue, I am now getting into trying to make more guides and I simply am running out of useful logs for certain subjects. I had a windows crash last year and I lost a lot of old tunes that would have been useful to me now. If I was in the states, I wouldn't have an issue here, but given my location, I have to ask the community for some help.

I'm looking to redo my MAF tuning guide as more of a step by step, due to the fact many cannot log both STFT and Wideband at the same time. My setups almost always include an additional bung, or I add one for this purpose. For some reason I forgot to consider this as the reality for many. So that's my mistake, and it will be corrected with a better more straight forward method.

It also doesn't help I run most of my own builds in straight open loop speed density lol. The last few MAF tunes I did were Mustangs. Also not helpful, at least on this forum.

Anyway, for now, I need a few MAF tuning logs that utilize a wideband. I could also use a few that are using STFT's (closed loop).

If anyone out there would like to help me out here, I would greatly appreciate it.

funny you bring this up. After tuning VE, I am trying to tune an LS3 maf with a 411 ecu. Everything above 2875 Hz is smooth. The lowers bounce a lot. I think I have it installed the best I can. I was wondering if it needed to be clocked a certain way in an fbody.

It may help, but it could also be backflow. MAF gets more accurate higher the RPM. It’s worth a shot changing the clock position and seeing if it makes a difference. On most you can loosen and rotate it. Specific aftermarket ones will have detailed instructions on this.

Exactly what files are you looking for? Scans before and after tuning MAF? Scanner or Editor? I'll help you out as best I can.
