So I replaced my muffler like 2 weeks ago cause it broke off .do I have to have it retuned??? Cause it is tuned for maximum performance?? And now it doesn't sound as loud as before. Had dual tip installed. before it was just a single. I don't know if it's the muffler or the tip that made it quiter? Sorry that I sound like an newbie but I am . Any info would help !

Tbh my dumb *** didn't check what muffler i had . But now ihave a magnaflow .I have a current 3" straight y pipe with headers and cat back exhaust. I didn't get new pipes

If your car was tuned for "maximum performance", and that is all you know about it, it probably has some generic performance tune if any at all. Either way, a magnaflow muffler will not change your engine enough to need a retune.
