I've got a gen iv 5.3 vortec engine that I want to pair with a manual transmission. I'm hoping to flash the e38 ecm to a 2010 manual camaro tune. I'd then change all the necessary parameters and tables back to the original truck tune. This should give me a vortec with a manual transmission, and still have the possibility of using the cruise control.

Is this quite doable? Am I expecting too much? I don't have hptuners yet, but hope to shortly after I get the engine bolted in.
