HP tuners..Controller Unlocker: timed out
was gonna compare a tune from the repository on here.. uploaded it into PCM fuel pump relay went crazy. tried to load original back in and get Controller Unlocker: timed out... did i just brick this PCM?? un did battery cable for a bit and still nothing.. did i just brick this? how do i unbrick this?
I have a 2004 Buick Rainier and I couldnt get it to write for the life of me, same issue with controller timeout message.
In order to flash this vehicle I have to unplug the entire rear fuse panel from the CANbus.
In my troubleshooting I kept reading that some devices, namely radios, can kick HPTuners out of the PCM during the write process and I noticed my radio kept cycling during the write, like it was constantly rebooting. Removing the rear fuse block from the CANBus (1 simple plug) let's me write to the PCM.

I had this issue on a p59. I stuck it on a bench harness, and it did the same thing. HPT wanted all of their files sent to them to even begin to help. To me, that ecm has let the secret smoke out. Every other ecm I have reads fine.
