Spark plug/tech question I have a 2000 camaro with 5.7 turbo, made 817 rwhp on 16-18 lbs boost on 93 octane pump gas and ran 10.2 @140 mph in 3800 lb street car with bres 9 plugs, why is it when I put a tr55 plugs in it the car picks up and ran a 9.45@148 mph?did not dyno it with tr55. Any ideas would be appreciated
Boost/AFR/spark/knock logged on both passes? Same gap on both passes? Sounds more like you had a crack/defect in 1 of the BRES9 plugs and replacing the entire set gave you full 8 cylinders again.

Plugs were good This is like the 5th time I have done this to prove myself to some tuners, it ran for 3 years with the tr55’s on 93 octane and ran 9.14 @152 dozens of 1/4 mile passes ! The bres9’s were all good no issues, but now it did burn a piston with the tr55’s in it
