I have a 99 TA LS1 that was tuned with a EFILive 2 bar SD tune by a shop near me a few years ago. It has always idled around 500 rpm and I have had some charging issues but never messed with it. Recently I hooked up a FlashScan V2 and noticed the idle timing was only 2 degrees. Long story short it looks like the guy used a manual tune on my auto car because the max idle speed in P/N was set to 0. Changed that to 1200 and now it always idles at 1000 rpm and the Desired Idle in the scanner also shows 1000 rpm even though the Desired Idle tables say it should be 675. Anyone know why the desired idle would be coming through as 325 rpm higher than what in the table?
