Default E67 Throttle Pedal

I'm losing my mind trying to get a throttle pedal to work with L96 I dropped into my Chevelle. The ECM is an E67 out of an 07 Saab 9-7x with a 5.3 (should be the same as a Trailblazer). I initially used that operating system with an LS4 Impala throttle pedal but was not getting a 0-100% sweep according to VCMScanner. At best, the logger was showing about 20-80% for accelerator position. I then did a full write of a 2007 CTS-V operating system on the ECM and had the same problem. Older forum posts seemed to indicate that a full write on HPTuners can't change hard coded accelerator position limits so I found a 2007 Trailblazer throttle pedal and tried that with the same results. Does this seem like a operating system/hardware mismatch issue or should I be checking my wiring?

There are 2 sensors in the pedal ( APP 1 and APP 2). On the Trailblazer, both sensors rest at 1.02v and sweep to 4.06v at WOT. On the CTS-V, APP 1 rests at 0.97v and sweeps to 4.06v at WOT (same as Trailblazer) but APP 2 rests at 0.4v and sweeps to 2.0v at WOT. This will cause problems. You will get Throttle Pedal Voltage Correlation codes and will go into limp mode. You might be able to disable those codes with HPT and get it to work but I doubt it. Best bet would be to run the CTS-V pedal. I do have a 07 CTS pedal if you want it.

Also, if I remember correctly, the 20-80% reading is normal. Look at the APP Volts and that will tell you if the pedal is working correctly.

Interesting, I figured the pair of sensors would have the same voltage sweep, just in different directions. Are you saying if I ran VCM scanner on a stock CTS-V or Trailblazer it would only show accelerator position sweeping from 20-80?

I just scanned my TBSS and it shows 19.2% at rest and 86.7% at WOT

So I scanned the LS4 pedal with the correct pinouts and got the following:

Closed Open
APP 1 1.04v 4.02v
APP 2 0.51v 2.00v

Those values don't quite match what you posted above for the CTS-V pedal but it seems like they should be close enough. The accelerator pedal position PIDs properly show 0-100%. The engine will start and run (roughly because it isn't tuned for the new cam), but it will not respond at all to throttle input. I'm getting the following DTCs:

P060D Internal Control Module Accelerator Pedal Position Performance
P2119 Throttle Actuator Control Throttle Body Range/Performance
P2138 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch D/E Voltage Correlation

I double checked the throttle body wiring and all the pins are in the correct locations. My guess is that these codes are putting the ECM into some safe mode where it won't accept throttle input. I was going to switch these codes to "no error reported" to see what happened but now when I try to flash the file, HPTuners is telling me the vehicle isn't licensed. I've been messing with this problem for almost two months now and I'm fed up and out of ideas. Do I just need to find an OE CTS-V ECM and waste another $100 to license it?

Curious did you ever get this resolved? I have the similar issue. Code ( P060D - Internal Control Module Accelerator Pedal Position Performance) trying to get an 08 Trailblazer SS E67 ECM to work with a GMPP harness & throttle pedal.
