I spent the entire day redoing all of my grounds...
the ones under the driver door.
the two behind the left fog light.
replaced the braided ground cable on the back of the engine,
and cut the wire the for the PCM ground and gave it a new home..

my voltage gauge just randomly drops to 0. with a new alternator and a new battery. so i figured it was be the grounds....
NOPE not it...

BUT my code is throwing a bank 2 low fuel pressure, and every now and then i will get a knock sensor code.....

the Typical ABS fuse is unplugged due to the motor locked up under the cab....


i need to get my alternator issue fixed. is there anything in the loom that would cause an issue, is there a ground that could be an issue that i missed?
the reason why i thought it was a ground issue is because my dash lights up like a christmas tree.... whoch led me to the PCM ground. ABS and brake light flash, truck dings,, alternator votage drops to 9. and the fuel repssue guagge goes up and down randomly too...


i need to get the alternator problem first. of course its the 2 pin.
any help is appreciated... and i have alot of spare parts from the 04 tahoe 5.3 mustang swap.

went and bought another new alternator after the "test" failed....
still same issure....
all of a sudden, battery voltage drops to 9, AC turns off in the truck, lights in the truck goes dim... i could stay like that for 30 seconds or more. then it comes back up to 14, AC gets cold again. and lights brighten up.

no one thinks its the cluster so far.

IF I NEED to go to another forum then i will. i have read a ton of other threads trying to find this....

 

ive got 4 days to fix this and i am at a dead end.
someone please chime in

 

what is the general condition of the battery? try a new one?
