E38 PCM problems- won’t fire/read rpms Super new to ls swaps. So I’m swapping an L92 into a Datsun z. I’m using the stock harness, matching PCM , throttle pedal . I’ve done a wire diet using the lt1swaps website. And I’m NOT using the fuel pump relay wiring , nor am I using the starter relay wiring in the harness/pcm. I have those wired up from a previous swap through toggles. I also have The switched IGN wires to the pcm, on toggles , and the fuel pump on toggles , as well as a push start button for the starter. I have removed the BCM as well from the harness. All the powers for the injectors, MAF, coils and 02s are wired up to a constant , fused, panel. For whatever reason I can’t get my obd2 scanner to read any RPM signal from the PCM, nor are the injectors or coils firing.
I have ohmed the wires from the CKP and everything was fine, also checked voltage ref and everything was fine. ALSO VATS has been deleted. Am I missing something that needs to communicate with the PCM to read the crank signal?
