L83/6l80 Swap OBS Limp Mode
Hello,
I am new to posting but anyways. I have a 1998 Silverado with a a 5.3 L83/6l80. I am currently having issues with it going into limp mode. I never know when it will go into limp since it is so random. I have replaced the throttle body, pedal, and even re-flashed the computer and set it to the stock settings. It still goes into limp mode as well. So, I thought it was the fuel pressure but, it wasn't at all. I was also told that vibration can set off the knock sensors but the driveshaft has been balanced. I am kinda lost since the only codes popping up are P2138 (Accelerator Pedal Position). The stored/permanent codes were: P0697 (5v Reference 3 Circuit), P2111 (Accelerator Pedal Sensor 1 Low Voltage), and P2127 (APP Sensor 2 Circuit Low Voltage). I also tried to check VDC on the connector to the pedal itself and yeah by the time I checked the third wire it shut off the engine itself. Also, I visited the man that made the harness to verify if it was a truck harness and it is. So at the moment I am kinda lost in the sauce.
