air bag codes
air bag codes Does anyone know how to delete or erase the air bag deployment codes on a 99 corvette with a rebuilt title? Someone told me you couldnt remove those another person said his was wrecked and didnt have the codes. Can a tuner erase or delete the codes or a gm tech2 scanner tool? Or can the dealership erase them. The car has both air bags deployed and deployment commanded as C codes. Where is the air bag crash sensor that tell the air bags to deploy when in a wreck? Are these just the codes it throw when both air bags have been deployed or do i need to replace the air bag sensor? Is there a way to remove them as they stay C codes when reset thru the DIC.
These are the codes im looking top erase and what possible ways are there to remove them? Looking for the cheapest way to get these codes removed. Im in the san antonio texas area if anyone has the correct tool and knows how to remove them.

Someone told me the sdm or airbag module would need to be replaced and reprogrammed by the dealer which is expensive. This place resets the sdm module air airbag code reset from when airbags have been deployed or stuck air bag light. Not sure if he does c5 corvettes but i would have to ask. Would have to remove the sdm thats already programmed to the car and send it in for the reset roughly 50$. Its behind the hvac module so not too hard to remove. Airbag Module Reset | MyAirbags
