Holley ECU and stock gauges
I've got two other ideas for options which might be better and was hoping you guys might have better info or could start pointing me in the right direction. This truck is kind of a project truck so it doesnt need to be perfect, its also probably going to get a raspberrypi/arduino for unrelated stuff.
I was thinking either figuring out what the ECU was outputting and have a rpi get the inputs its needs and output that on the gmlan bus (pretty sure this goes to the BCM). Or figuring out what the gauge cluster expects and having the rpi output that directly to the cluster. Or doing some hacking to the cluster and having the rpi control the gauge servos directly.
Currently I'm missing fuel, speed, tach, coolant temp, odometer, shift position and any lights. But the turn signal lights currently works so thats something.
Just wanted to see what other people think might be the easiest path to make this work so I can start digging in to it. Or if anyone has any reference info. I found the GMLan bible on here, so I think this is the right place to ask.
Thanks
