I was driving to my property out bush when my o2s started playing up,b2 1200mv b1 400mv
so I had my pc with hp tuners with me and turned ordered closed loop off
my question … is that ok???
my stft before this in all parameters has been +2 to -2 with only a few showing higher lean when getting off the throttle….
car drove well probably better than open loop

 

Some people drive around all the time with no input from o2 sensors whatsoever. As long as your tune and mechanicals are all good, you don't need them for anything. That is a HUGE if. The o2s are there to let your computer know what is going on in real time, and you have to decide at this point if you believe the sensors are bad or you have a real problem.

 

I’ve been having issues with the electrical side of things, mainly ground. The way it drives Without o2 input is good , I think a little better.
I’ll keep it this way until I can get the engine harness looked at
