procharged car knock between shifts?
IF someone can take a peak at this log...
during the first WOT runs through gears 2-3-4 im getting 4 degrees KR on every shift, later on in the log on a 3-4 shift I got none? WTF? Safe to say this is false knock? if so I will ignore and continue on.
Tune not finished but runs and drives fairly well, DFCO turned back on.. is it possible not having the high rpm low vac areas done in causing some of this??Kind of just interpolated those, i never plan on really being there unless im WOT... Tuned on stft to 3600ish to within +/- 2
ls1, 225 prc heads 62 cc, 235/243 | .630/.615 111LSA cam. making 8-9PSI
11.0 commanded AFR. Pump 93 & 50/50 meth 10GPH nozzle on at 3 psi and max at 5 psi. Spark stupid low and conservative. Supposed to rain entire weekend. Really need a good day in the car to get everything nailed in solid..Just hate spinning the car to 5 grand to do VE tuning.

Most likely false knock from the shift. Best to pull a couple plugs and verify no signs of detonation. Easy to spot little black specs on the porcelain of the plugs. If you put new plugs in it then make a pull and check plugs after that you will know for sure if there was actually any detonation.

Ah, we meet again. Lol Im really almost certain that’s it. I think my exhaust Y pipe clacks my torque arm sometimes. Just wanted someone to make me feel better. LOL.
I wouldn’t imagine it’s knocking 4 degrees like that with no load..I guess I could pull spark out of the higher rpm low g/cyl areas and see if it goes away..i could pull 5 degrees out of 4,000-8000 rpm areas without much issue unless it’s referencing another table during clutch in...I might pull old logs and see if it did the same before. I thought it was burst knock as it pulls KR as soon as tps is registered but I thought I zerod those out long ago. Plus IF I remember i don’t think burst knock shows up on the scanner as KR. Stupid car. Lmao

Anyone know what spark is referenced during WOT clutch in transitions? at first on my logs i couldnt figure out where 28 degrees was coming from, but then I guess during 0% tps its jumping back to the idle spark tables and the overspeed table is taking out -12 and for that minute second its referencing the idle spark tables since tps is less than the min value for the high low octane tables(is that correct??) thinking of setting it up to drop from 28 degrees to 24 degrees on clutch in transitions and see if it still shows knock randomly.
Just wondering if anyone else has done this to verify false knock on shifts? looks like its picking up KR as soon as shift is complete and TPS starts to move. so its within milliseconds of clutch being released.
EDIT: new file with some VE smoothing done and spark tables fingered with
