Default Terminator x and emissions

I have a 2000 firebird. Local emissions requires to scan via obd2 for trouble codes. Of course holley terminator x do not have obd2 connection. Any ideas to get around it. I would like to keep my car registered in my home town.
or should I go with hp tuners?

You could try piggybacking TermX with the OEM ECM to keep OBDII.

But of course you wouldn't do such a thing, because that would be illegal. 😉

I can absolutely keep all emissions controls functioning with a piggyback. It's only illegal if you start defeating devices. EVAP, PCV, EGR, AIR, catalyst - all can work just fine. Just need to know which wires to keep and which to remove in the stock harness. The hardest part is getting the stock computer to recognize the engine is running so it correctly operates everything.

You know your not wrong. I actually never really thought about it like that. Now I have to think about this.

Depends on the state but at 15 years PA is emission exempt with a classic plate. At 25 years, most cars are exempt with antique plates.
