Air Pump & WB O2 sensor
How do I turn off the air pump using HP Tuners?
When I used the WBO2 sensor, they claim that the air pump adds air (which I understand) and lean out the AFR. They recommend to disable the pump, I would like to do with HP Tuners software vs disconnecting the belt or what ever.
Thanks
Bill

You could also disable it by setting the Air Pump Disable Coolant Temp to something really low. I haven't tested this but it does seem to coorespond to when it cuts off. Mine is set to disable @ 14 degrees F from the stock program so this would make sense as it cuts off pretty quick after I first start the car.
Or you could pull the fuse and delete the code.
Thanks - Pulling the fuse sounds like the easiest approach to the problem and my factory setting is also set to 14 degrees F - that is what confused me. I guess the question begs to be asked, why have the pump if it is only used during start up???
