I have a weird issue where the MIL wil turn on fine with the ignition ON, engine OFF. Just like it should. When the engine is running nothing will turn the MIL ON. Unplugging the map sensor, TPS does nothing. When reading the codes the MIL status also shows OFF.
I checked specifically that the MIL is set to illuminate immediately and it is reported. The code shows up but MIL status is still off.
The circuit is working fine as it turns ON when the key is ON
