LS3 Installed Tach Doesn’t Work
LS3 Installed Tach Doesn’t Work I installed an LS3 in my 2002 Camaro. The LS3 was built with a 24 tooth reluctor wheel so I can use the stock PCM with programming. Everything worked as it should with all the changes that needed to be done due to the LS3 conversion with the exception of my stock tach not working. I remember the shop that did the initial install had mentioned they had to repin something, never gave me details, in order for the tach to work. Since then i have had to remove the engine myself and have it freshened up. After i reinstalled the engine the only issue I have is the tach not working. Everything was reconnected as it should have been. The gentlemen that did the initial install and tuning died in an accident several years ago so I cant ask him.
