Default I keep getting code P0099 "IAT Sensor 2". Sensor 2???

2002 LS1/6 - I keep getting this code. It may have always been there because I never looked.
P0099 IAT sensor 2 - I only have 1 sensor
My sensor is installed on the bottom side of my intake tube close to the 90 degree bend before the throttle body
Suggestions?
I replaced the sensor because they are cheap, but that didn't help any.

Do you anyway of looking at real time data and see what the IAT sensor is showing?

I'm guessing it's been tuned at some point because it's a swap vehicle. More than likely that DTC was accidently turned on when they were turning other ones off.

What PCM do you have? I don't even see that DTC listed in a stock 2002 tune.

The car has been tuned, but it has had some significant changes. I’m trying to get scheduled for a re-tune, but I want to make sure I don’t have any codes or anything that will hang up getting it tuned. It is a stock 2002 Camaro computer.

Yes, and I do not see it fluctuating. It rises when I sit at a stoplight and cools back down when I start driving.

Well, to sound like a dummy, what is DTC?

Diagnostic trouble code, got it. Lol. Is this something that should be being monitored?

You mean just DTC's in general? Normally people wait for the check engine light to come on to know when they have a DTC. Some people that do swaps add a light(basically a check engine light) to know when there is a problem.

I'm still a little perplexed how you are getting that code if you are using the PCM out of the 02 F body. The only IAT DTC's that are showing in a stock 2002 f body tune(looking at it with HPTuners) is a P1111 and P1112

I don't think the IAT2 was added till the E38 PCM or possibly the E40.

I bought the car with the engine in it, and it has never had a check engine light. I did, however just add a wire to that circuit on the computer, I just need to get a light and connect it up. My scanner, which is just a dongle style, pulled the Vin number and I was able to verify that it was a 2002 Camaro.
