Rich Bank 1 and 2
Have any of you guys had this issue? Going rich on bank 1 and 2 for about 5-10 seconds after every startup, temp doesn't matter. AFR is perfect after rpm stablizes. Car runs and drives fine but this issue is driving me crazy and I don't know where to go to fix it. This is a 5.7/4L60E 4400 yank, 228 comp cam, swap in a 70 camaro.
this is what I was thinking. I was big in the LS cars from the beginning up until around 2011. So I understand a lot of the stuff but I haven’t messed with any tuning in over 10 years! I do appreciate all you guys helping me out.

Does it matter if you're in MAF vs SD mode? Have you messed with cranking fuel? If it's increased maybe the engine is clearing all the excess cranking fuel before AFR shows normal. Have you touched the power enrichment tables? Maybe you're in PE mode somehow right after startup and that's adding fuel. Just grasping at straws here.
First, how do you know that startup is too rich? O2 sensors don't work correctly for the 5-10 seconds you mention.
As mentioned, the "Startup Enrichment" table could be modified, but note that the table is called "Enrichment", meaning this is normal during startup on these cars.
Now, if you have a burst of black smoke blowing out on startup, you might have injectors leaking into the cylinders; this can be catastrophic if enough hydro-locks a cylinder.

Guess that would help wouldn't it! Sorry, I thought I put one in the original post. What all parameters do you want me to log? The car is sitting here cold right now. I'll log a cold and hot start. I want to make sure I get everything you guys might need to be able to see what the hell is going on. I appreciate all you guys

Here is a copy of the tune and a few logs. I just scanned a bunch of stuff that I thought might be helpful. Cold start up and three hot starts. It sucks feeling like a complete rookie with this stuff these days. I use to half *** know how to do this **** back then! Thank you all for your help.
Just looked over your tune and noticed a few things. I compared to a stock '02 M6 TransAm and my own LS3 TransAm. Your MAF table is slightly richer than stock but your VE is much leaner than stock. The lower half of your MAF table is pretty similar to my LS3. Your closed loop mode vs. airflow table has had airflow modes removed compared to stock so the PCM has less fine tuning ability with your closed loop adjustments. Same with the rich/lean voltages on your banks. They are set to 551 for every airflow mode but you have the airflow mode table set to use mode 16 for everything from idle to WOT. The proportional airflow mode table seems to be set high. Your open loop table was set to 1 across the board and stft's were enabled for open loop. Maybe it doesn't get cold enough in Louisiana to calibrate this table but you should turn stft's off for open loop. Your LTFT enable is set low, I think you want that closer to operating temp. You're running a lot more spark than a stock LS1.
I can't edit your file and reupload without a license for your file. Thought we were able to do that at one point?? I would recommend setting your closed loop enable to 280 across the board so you run in open loop all the time and turn off open loop stft. If it's not super rich you know the problem's in your closed loop tables. If nothing changes try running in SD mode by going into Engine Diagnostics and setting MAF fail frequency to 0. If that doesn't change anything try running in MAF-only mode by going to airflow > dynamic > dynamic airflow and set high RPM disable to 400.
