I currently have a factory P01 PCM in my 2000 Z28 I plan on switching to a Holley Terminator in the very near future and I'm wondering how I can convert my HP Tuners VE table to the Holley format as my factory computer VE scaling is drastically smaller than the Holley VE table. Everything I've seen online is for converting the gen 4 commuters over to the Holley Any help is greatly appreciated.
My factory computer is already tuned and id like to run the same tune or something close to that tune so I don't have to spend even more money on getting the Holley tuned when I already have the data I need on hand
Yeah, that's not how it works. You will be fully retuning it on the Holley and while you can use your timing tables as an estimate to plug in values to the Holley map you still get to redo everything.
Here is my last HP Tuners VE table, followed by a Holley VE table for the same basic engine. I copied values cell by cell where they matched up and then used the Holley "Smooth" function help with the in-between values.
(Mostly I am showing this to those who don't know the Holley software.)
However as @NicD posted, you basically will retune the entire VE table.
With Closed-Loop and Learn enabled, the Holley ECU will, while you drive, build its Learn table, which effectively works like a Long-term-Fuel-Trim. When convenient with a laptop connected, you can then merge the Learn table into the VE table. After a few iterations, you will have a decent VE table, at least in the areas where you drive.
