Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I've got a HyperTech Power Programmer Plus that came with my 1998 Trans Am that is not installed. I've plugged it in to verify that it works, but that's it. I've had it for over a year and have been hesitant to install it since my car runs really well. I suppose I can't really mess much up with it, so I'm thinking it's about time to try it out. I understand it's probably "junk," but every little bit helps until I'm ready to do some real performance modifications. I was wondering if there's any good information online on using theses older tuners, or YouTube videos to watch or something?
Does this thing install like, a basic, blanket "tune" if I don't mess with any of the individual parameters? I couldn't tell from browsing through the instructions.
I also just noticed that I have a Power Programmer Plus, but the instructions in the box say Power Programmer III on them. Would they be the same directions basically? Thanks for any info you guys can provide or link me to!

I have a Plus. Instructions say III. don't know the difference or which one is better or why they don't match. Box matches the programmer.
