deleting the AIR and EGR, and aiming for no check engine light obviously and an accurate AFR reading. Would also like to run a handheld tuning system such as HP or Holley and probably a digital dash. Don’t want to rewire everything if it’s not necessary at the moment, but I’m aiming for nitrous in the future. With the build basically being just a slightly stronger version of the ls1 that came out originally, the stock harness and ECU will be fine for tuning this correct? I’m going to have my tuner send a start up tune and then take it to him for a dyno. And if I decide to get a new gauge cluster and want my Map, Maf, water temp and fuel pressure etc. would I need new sensors// and is it easier make another small fuse/relay box for those just so I don’t have to fk with the stock fuse box??? Haven’t had much experience with electrical automotive work so any advice would be greatly appreciated! If you need more info just ask

The digital dashboard display though... The modern ones use a CAN bus, and the stock electronics use a VPW bus, and they're not compatible. You could use sensors from AEM to get CAN data, and wires those to a new display. There's also a company making a device for about $700 that reads from the stock ECU and sends data to a CAN bus, for this kind of scenario. I haven't used it myself but I hear it's good. You're probably wondering what the company is called... unfortunately so am I.
