Typically, I set Rev Limiter 1 to a base RPM—let’s say 3500 RPM as an example. From there, I use a Rev Limiter 1 Offset table to gradually increase the limit based on boost pressure then bring it back down after building boost. I also configure a separate table to add fuel as needed and another to retard timing as boost builds.

Each combination is different, so tuning needs to be adjusted accordingly. The goal is to provide enough fuel and RPM to initiate spool-up, then start pulling timing as boost increases. It’s a delicate balance—too aggressive and the engine may bog; too conservative and it might not generate enough boost.

I have never pulled the kind of timing your trying either.

I can't use Rev Limiter 1 unless I wire an output to an input, as far as I know. I want this to be done solely off the clutch pedal, no buttons, no switches. My car is also a stick, so there's nothing to load the engine against to initiate spool up. I'm still in the early learning stages of Holley tuning, so I'm trying to figure things out as I go. This one has me stumped, though.

I have a CAN I/O box, so yes, I do. I might have to do that, unless someone has a better idea.
