Base .hpt tune needed lq4 dbc

Hello, this is my first post on this site. I am having trouble locating a base tune to load onto my p59 pcm. From the research I have conducted it seems i need a tune from a 2003 chevy silverado 2500hd that is drive by cable. I have found plenty of tunes that match those options, the only place im stuck at is that my os is 12592618 wich limits a lot of the tunes i have been finding. I know this combination exists somewhere because i bound a .bin file for a 03 express that also came in a lq4 with a drive by cable setup, also having the os 12592618. is there any way to either convert the .bin file to an .hpt file? or is some guardian angel somewhere out there has a base tune for a lq4 that is already a .hpt file and is for the operating system 12592618 you would save my life! transmission and other things dont matter as it is on a stand alone harness and its gonna be running with a manual transmission.

Unfortunately was not aware that all p59 pcms are not made equally and that os number is not compatible with drive by cable. Incase anyone else is in my predicament in the future. The pcm does not have idle an air controller which is why it doesn’t work.

All is not lost if you can find one of these PCM hardware numbers. They made P59's with the IAC hardware (drive by cable) up to 2007. Hardware (not service) numbers: 12575502, 12570558, 12583659, and 12589161.

Yes thanks, i was looking it up earlier and came across that. I only wish i had found that out before i spent 2 hp tuner credits unlocking the 12589162 pcm 😂. Oh well

Two things you should know for the future. Hptuners has a "tune translation" service on their website that will convert a .bin file to a .hpt file. It is free for gen3 gm tunes, but costs money for other types. The other thing is that username Twenglish1 has a thread on the pcmhacking website that shows how to add the IAC driver to a p59 pcm that does not have it. The thread includes an ebay link to the required IC.

Will definitely keep in my mind! Thanks for the advice. This is my first swap so im still making all the stupid little mistakes, but at least im learning.
