Best Scan Tool Greetings,
I am looking for a great scan tool that I can use for my OBD 1 94 Firebird. I have seen many devices out there, so I don’t know which one to get. Besides a basic code reader for OBD II vehicles, I’ve never used one. Any help is appreciated.
It would be nice if the tool could do both OBD I and II, but I’ll take just I for now. Thanks for any info.

I've been using my Innova OBD I & II scanner for nearly 20 years. Works great and is updatable. Came with all the cables and connectors that you'd need for both operating systems. I know they make an updated version of the model I have however mine is still completely supported. This is an ECM scanner and can't help with ABS or body computer issues however.
It's Innova model 3140. Here's a link for a newer version of what I have. I even saw my model unit for sale on there.
