Default HPTuners on order, need "getting started" advice...

My initial goal is to use the scanner portion of the program to monitor/log stock temps/readings/etc. under certian loads.

I'd like to somehow save my stock tune in the event I need to revert in the future, how is that done?

Then I will be installing Magnacharger Radix w/ their provided handheld tune, headers, and magnaflow cat-back exhaust.

At this point I'd like to again log temps/readings/etc. and slowly modify parameters as needed/desired.

any advice for a guy just starting out? links to answers are cool, thanks folks

You can download the HP Tuners help file from their website so that you can read thru it before you get your program. It'll get you started so you can hit the ground running. It's very easy to save your stock tune.

As far as other reading... Read everything on this forum, the HPTuners forum, and LS1Tuning.com.

I'm trying my best to read everything, I suppose its a little hard for me to grasp everything in theory as I don't have something to work with yet.
I could use an acronym dictionary when reading some of these posts though.
sometimes I end up searching for 15mins just to find out what one acronym/abbreviation means, then another 15mins to understand how that affects the tune/setting.
