Default How can I reset my computer to the HO Timing Table at the track??

Did some logging at the track last night and it appears I'm not getting all the timing I'm supposed to. In 1st gear I'm getting 24.5-25*, 2nd 25.5-26*, 3rd 26.5-27* and 4th 27.5* I had less than 1* of KR on the 1st pass only in 1st gear but none after that. But the timing stayed the same on every pass after w/o any KR at all. My HO timing table is set up to give me 28* of timing from like 2500 and up. My LO timing table is still stock. It gets 27.5* on the street and dyno both at WOT.

Is there a way to reset the computer back to the HO table at the track? I think you can do it by filling the tank up w/ gas but don't want to do that.

Also, could the 2-step have something to do with it pulling timing? There's no indications that it is though.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks,
Craig

Copy the high table to the low.

You can make a tune for the track and copy the HO table to the LO table and they'd both be the same. If any knock is registered, it defaults to the LO table.

That's a good idea.

If I do that and I do get some knock, it can still retard the timing when the knock is occurring right? It'll just go back to normal timing after then right?

Yes as long as you haven't disabled Knock Retard as well.

I added my low octane table back and I scanned for knock learn, and it was maxed out on the low-octane table, then I watched it creep up to a whopping .2...which is still pretty much running on the low octane table. I am going to start yanking some timing and see what happens. I know the knock retard settles down, except in a few choice spots. I think the 98 table was too aggressive, and of course the knock sensors are too sensitive.
