Default car keeps going back lean after adding to p.e

ok, we are adding fuel on the p.e table for a dry shot. *150 dry* after we flash it. the car shows it is runing rich. then we drive it around for awhile and it go's back lean. o2's go back to 900 from 950 right after flash. i must of put 12 percent of fuel in the p.e table. but the car keeps going back lean. (this is on motor only) i am trying to keep it rich wanting the o2's somewhere in the 930's. the fuel trims are -4 cruzin and at idle 0. this is after car has relearned. anybody ever have this prob? or should i just keep adding to the p.e table.. seems the car gets richer right after it reflash the computer but then go's back to 900 after driving it... all wide open throttle of course

What do the -WOT- LTFTs show? You may have some
cells that are positive despite the idle and cruise
being OK? If PE is only pushing down a positive trim
then you will have a neutral effect after learning.

i will recheck that. i think the ltrim locked at 0. but i will check and make sure. appreciate the input. we are eager to hit the dual stage 300 on it

keep in mind in open loop (PE) the computer will use the richer of the two open loop tables available to it. You have open loop PE and you also have open look ECT vs. MAP. I had a similar problem when trying to lean out my car

Also consider O2 sensor temperature. As the sensors get hot with extended driving, the O2 mV readings will drop a little.

Try using a wideband...
