231/237 cam red line??

231/237 cam red line??

What do people with this cam have the red line set. I think mine is around 6300. I think that is shy yet as the car is still pulling nice before the shift. I still have the stock 273's in so I am going to wait till I get them 3.73's in ( six months of being in back order and still no thick gear ) to see if that changes anything since I had the tuner tune it for them right away.

Let me know if I should send it back and bump up the red line.

With that cam, for the best times you'd want to shift around 6700 i believe. So set the limiter a little higher so you don't hit it at the track.

231/237 with stock heads,a4/st3500, 3.23 I set limiter off @ 6800, on 6799-shift 1/2 @6600 and 2/3 @ 6500 ( if I set 2/3 up higher , with lag will hit limiter)

Update.......... called my tuner and they have my limiter set at 6200 and the shift point at 6100..... He said to send the computer back..... so there is a week of down time for me. Thought that was a bit shallow for my cam.....still was pulling real nice before the shift. Can't wait to feel the full pull
