The WB A/F input is something that you guys add to the stock PCM? What type of connector does it use?

This sounds very interesting if this product will only be slightly more than LS1edit.

Thanks in advance

Sorry for delay. Things are very busy here at the moment.

The connector we are using on our protype is a "Mini UHF" socket. We have chosen this type of socket as it is usually used with shielded thin coax so as to keep any RF signal noise out. The Wide Band A/F signal going into the PCM is true raw data from the WB sensors own control box. We decided not to filter this signal with divide numbers so as not to influence the 40 fps log trace.
The result is a smooth air fuel ratio trace along with RPM MAP and what ever else you wish to log and view.

No problem, I can imagine how busy.

I have another question though.

If you sell this to individuals how will different makes/models/years be handled? Will the buyer have to send in their computer to be modified or will there be a core charge and you guys will put the appropriate year/model/make information in a new modified computer to send out?

Thanks again

John

Initially we would like buyers to send in their computers (PCM's) to be modified. On arrival the PCM would be downloaded (read) so as to insure the exact program type is used after the RTLS1 modifications have been made. The operating system ID (Segment 1) will not change, which will mean that any previous un-encrypted bin files that you have collected can be uploaded to the new RTLS1 PCM. An upload (write) takes approx. 2 seconds.
As we progress we will endeavor to supply new modified PCM's when required.

Don't hesitate if you have any other questions.
